Well if there's a certain art form you're not too good with (Ex: Realism, vector, anime, CalArts, etc) Then you can try something new. It really forces you to almost build from the ground up and remember your basics, except it's just a different style. The things you learn with the experimental style will help you improve your style, and before you know it you'll be seeing big improvement! Of course you don't have to if you don't want to tho lol, it's just what's worked for me in the past
