ok so
ill use the way i draw eyes as an example
I make the base color kinda...dry ig?
then i get a more vibrent color for a shade of said eye (like blue, green, yellow, etc)
as the second layer of shade, i use the same color, but mixed with a different vibrent color (lets say blue + red, orange + yellow, etc)
Most times for highlights of anything, like eyes, hair,a ears, etc, i use either orange, green, light blue, or (the one i use most) yellow
