Linkthis is from my personal experience. i still have trouble with myself and nothing is completely fixed, but i can look in the mirror and smile now

Linkim serious about this. stop insulting yourself. you dont have to complim3nt yourself, but stop with the "im ugly" "im annoying" and whatever else. shut down the negative slef talk whenever you notice it. i dont care how true it feels. it will feel more true the more you say ut, so stop

Linkplus calling out the negative behavior is a first step to bridging the gap to being able to compliment yourself. it will take a while obviously, a very long time. dont feel discouraged because you still have issues with yourself. i had debilitating anxiety to where i couldnt go in public without sweating and scratching at my skin until like 2 years ago.

Linkyou have to want to get better. i was always so scared that i woudl start to act healthier so i wouldnt qualify for help i still need, but trust me, you will get the help you need. the first step to helping yourself is wanting to be better. genuinely want better for yourself. l

Linkdo not turn down xompliments. even if you just muster an awkward thank you, do not try to turn it away or say "no u". i mean it. you can compliment the other person too but do not turn down their compliment

Linkdont feel guilty for your emotions. you cant control emotions. you van control your actions, and you can forgive yourself. even if it has to be done forcefully and uncomfortably, forgive yourself. even with jealousy and anger and bad actions in the past. you cant control emotions, you dont need to feel guilty for them. and you can forgive yourself for past actions. you can do better and you can get better, you are not a problem and you can be a good person, youre the one who chooses your actions, so yes, you can be a good person. no ifs, ands, or buts
