LinkI’m so confused, I know I’m not the best at comforting but was what I said bad or something?
My friend was talking about how things in their life are just not going well ,so I replied with “I hope things get better for you” and they say “just stop, please don’t say that to me”. Was what I said wrong?

Dawg, l don't think thats normal if someone said that to me. I'd drop them.
Either he thinks he is the main character who can say whatever he likes or he's mad because if someone said that to me if I was upset I'd say thank you
