Some people are talking about their kin and then list a bunch of fictional characters and I kinda wanna know what that's all about- It's actually pretty cool but I want to knowlege

“I kin x character” is really “i see myself in this character” whether with or without reasoning
Or some people use ot as in “i want to BE this character” or more extreme “I literally velieve i am this character”

For example, i kin Tord from Eddsworld. i very heavily want to be thay character. i mostly draw myself with similar characteristics as him and even prefer to be called by his name :]
