for the mevin thing, I have a quote that can help you: If you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life thinking it's stupid. I'm trying to say that if someone says mevin is terrible or something and you believe them, you will also think it's bad. But you won't listen to what YOU think about, instead your following and believing what THEY think about it. So if YOU think it's a good thing, then that means it is.
