First of all, it’s not as bad as it sounds. Second of all, I love my little brother. I probably spend more time with him than I do with my actual friends. Willingly... but back to the nail thing. So, I sent him to go get ready for bed since it was way past his bedtime, and he was upset and went to go take his shower. He went in crying, and came out still crying, so I said, “what are you crying about now”, expecting him to say that he didn’t want to go to bed, but instead, he said that he had a nail in his throat. I was confused, so I was like, “Sorry, what? Were you sucking on a nail or something?” but he said no. I asked him “then why do you have a nail in your throat?” He said that it just appeared there. Now I was thoroughly confused. This went on for a few minutes, me being more concerned and confused. I called my mom because I was afraid he’d have to go to urgent care or something, but while he was explaining what had happened, he said it was a fingernail... What the heck dude! A fingernail?!

Turns out, it was a fingernail the whole time.
