( character in the drawing is dominic, excuse the laziness of the following also skip this is mention of church related roles bothers you) The rain thudded heavily against the cobblestone path as Dominic walked home, keeping his pace relatively hurried. He’d been about to assist in a hunt when his husband had called him in a panic, and though he’d been told to take his time, he preferred whatever mess was waiting at the house than chasing people in the cold rain all night. He’d gotten a medic to inform the Pastor for him- he really didn’t feel like approaching that man himself. A distant gong signaled the start of the hunt, and he caught himself smiling- all those people he didn’t like were stuck in the freezing cold until daybreak. -them. He hadn’t seen them hit any, though he had no doubts they’d kept doing it after he left. He spotted the familiar turn to their house- it was mostly secluded, near the port so you could walk down to the water easily but hidden enough by trees that they weren’t bothered by people unless necessary. Sprinting to the door (why did this cape have to be so easy to trip on?), he skidded to a halt, unlocking the door and letting himself in. He then made his way to the kitchen, not bothering to care about tracking footprints on the floor from the mud, and leaned against the doorway. “Oliver?” The slightly shorter man spun around. It was now apparent he’d been washing his hands. He squinted. Was that blood? “I thought-

-I told you not to hurry! We don’t need the pastor coming to make sure we’re okay!” Oliver’s voice cracked during the second sentence, and Dominic sighed, keeping his own tone calm. “Oliver, why don’t we need the pastor coming here? He’s got no reason to be mad at us.” He waved him towards the living room, where Dominic froze in the doorway. “..Holy shit-“ if you want more let me know lmao but thats all im doing rn
