Golden Freddy, referred as Yellow Bear in the first games files, real name being Cassidy, is a spirit or a hallucination in Five Nights at Freddy's and a real antagonist in Five Nights at Freddy's 2. He is a returning character for the Ultimate Custom Night.
I think your about right, although golden freddy is a girl.
Ultimate custom night was used as Williams hell since he was being killed by all of his creations over and over again. Some of the animatronics even mention Cassidy. Such as Jack-O-chica when she says
“ Greetings from the fire, and from the one you should not have killed!”
The one William should not have killed was Cassidy
That actually makes sense cause every time i would listen to there voice lines they would Say *The one you shouldn't have killed* and it makes sense that there referring to cassidy
