It might’ve looked like he exploded but he was already shattered

Turning on a broken lightbulb will expose the filament to oxygen which will cause it to burn up

He actually broke in a hiking incident waaaay before the show takes place

Bear attack (well I guess in this universe it’s be a giant bear trap)

Yeah he used to live in the mountains with his girlfriend before ending up in the void and while he was hiking with her they came face-to-face wit a bear and even though Brokenbulb (well I guess in at the time he was called “Lightybulb”) survived his girlfriend ended up dying
