Okay this is actually a vent post about white supremacy and how it hurts people I am native american, but I rejected and refused this part of me for a very long time because all around me were white people. White here, white there, all my ocs were white, I refused to acknowledge my own racism because everything I grew up seeing said that POC were bad and not normal. My mom? Dark skinned, fairly tan. My grandpa even more so, all the way back my people were dark. But because my dad is white, I got light skin and blue eyes, typical white person. I get really sad thinking about how long I ignored the part of myself that...wasn't white, especially because white people are the reason my people are so scarce, the reason why my people are treated the way we are.
