LinkPersonally i think yes as long as youre saying it with people who are comfortable hearing it/ being called it and its not supposed to be a genuine insult or its directed at yourself and youre disabled and stuff Because if you say disabled people cant use the slur just because they dont have 'retardiation' (Idk if thats grammatically correct i always thought the term was retardism) then you have to apply it to other things too Like gay girls wouldnt be able to say faggot since the slur wasnt created for them

Yeah it should be. And personally (I know this is controversial but I don’t mind) as an autistic person I don’t even care if people who aren’t disabled say it because it has been so watered down at this point, only in recent years did I found out it was a slur and not just a cuss word. As long as people don’t say it to insult a disabled person, but I honestly I don’t think I’ve ever seen people use it in that way in real life at least. Sorry if this doesn’t make a lot of sense I tried to word it best I could :p
Yeah I agree. It kinda is true for anything, if someone is uncomfortable with you saying it then you should just respect their boundaries and not say it around them 🫡
if youre mentally disabled or physically disabled and its something you cant control or "heal" from then i think its fine, just my opinion though. Also did cody call you a retard?
