Me horridly judging anyone who owns cool inverts and just calls them by there species name or scientific name than giving silly personable names

ITS SO UNMFAIR MOST OF LTHEM LIVE ONLY A COUPLE MONTHS

NONONO I’m talking about people who own beetles tarantulas scorpions and other inverts and don’t give them names like you would give other pets like spots or lulu

Like you wouldn’t call your Golden Labrador- Golden Labrador Why can’t inverts also be treated like that

If you get a damn highly dangerous and intelligent venomous centipede FOR A BUNCH OF MONEY the least you can do is give it a cool name like Destroyer

“This is my collection” while I know that’s the appropriate term they are technically pets they are all living things lowkey why not call it the pet room that would be way cooler and sillier

I would say as a avid adopt me player of 4/5 years all my pets have cute personal names

I really want a ginormous beetle to have on my shoulder one day

Sometimes I hold back from thinking about getting a rosy haired tarantula because I know if I did I would love it way to much

Something about tarantulas and jumping spiders are so much more different then the others that I’m scared of

I saw a video of a tarantula fall and bust its thorax it was so sad to watch

I wanted to rewind time so bad

The keeper treats his tarantulas like teenage girls I love him sm I could tell he was so sad seeing what was happening to her

I KNOWW he was trying to feed her she didn’t survive unfortunately There butts are just so big it makes them vulnerable it’s why they are mostly ground dwellers and some of the more arboreal species have smaller thoraxes to combat that risk

That’s horrible most tarantulas don’t even need much how could you ever buy one just to neglect it

Look at those silly hair covered tiny eyes

Not from what I could tell- the keeper tried to put some white power on them to stop the bleeding but it was a really bad fall- he put her in a quarantine cage where she died

Yeah atleast she spent her life with a nice handler who did love her

After watching that video I realized that if you were to own a tarantula to be aware of your surroundings and always keep them low to the ground especially when handling them

EWW how can you do something like that I can’t bear to see inverts when they get injured it’s so horrifying and disgusting to me

I couldn’t imagine trying to purposely hurt any invert

My favorite part about most tarantulas is the set of legs closest to there face it looks like they are so shy

Like weird bug arms carefully folded into the most polite manner

FR i love the little claws they have at the end of there legs it reminds me of beetles
