Cap, being his very dependable self, was already at where they were supposed to be, waiting for Jack. Now, he WAS told it was just gonna be him and Jack, but... He may or may not have pulled a few strings to bring along some back up. "Just a little" as he calls it 🙄
*jack had been called in from a day off, which annoyed the hell out of him. He had been a bit away so he was flying over buildings, nearing where they where supposed to be*
There were a couple vans outside the building, as well as "figures" that looked like somewhat like part of a SWAT team waking around the outside of the building. Cap was nowhere in sight... Probably in the back of one of the vans/trucks. Yeah... Again, he calls this a "little backup" lmao
*jack landed down at the scene and sighed.* "what the hell cap" *he started asking around for cap, slightly annoyed by this all, thinking this was all over the top*
Well, considering how you explained the events going on, I'd beg to differ-)
Eventually, one of these people points to one of the vans, as to be expected. The back of van was open, kinda just acting as a ramp. Cap was in there, obviously, kinda just looking at something... Couldn't really tell what though from where Jack was standing

Jack:*he went and walked over* "so, what the hell is going on cap?"
Cap glances over at Jack "I thought you would've been told this already, but... I suppose there's no harm in telling you-" Cap spends the next few minutes explaining what's going on lol
"Yeah... My team have been patrolling the outside of this entire building all morning, and haven't SEEN anything unusual... But, then again, we didn't come here to investigate outside-" he says before turning around to face Jack
"Well, not really... I was waiting for you to get here to explain what's going on... I feel like the time we head inside would be your choice" he says as he walks to the back of the still open can, looking outside to see if anything had happened during his rather lengthy explanation
Cap taps on the side of the van rythmically "Hmm... I feel like the sooner we get in the better, but... Again, up to you"
Cap nods, reaching down and pulling his h a n d g u n out of its holster before gesturing Jack out of the van "Lead the way"
As they walk towards the building, Cap pats the back of one of the random soldiers to get their attention "You. You're with us. Rest of you stay out here and make sure nobody gets in"
Haha... This guy is just cannon fodder, so... Do with that what you'd like. Basically saying something bad is bound to happen to this guy to make things interesting 😌)

Cap walks into the building behind Jack, as well as who I'm going to call Stanley for the duration of his time with us lol. Cap almost immediately starts to become very cautious, lifting his pistol up slightly and gripping it tightly in both hands, ready for anything
