So basically Lavender just doesn't know how much longer she can put up this pathetic act. She doesn't know when they'll notice or find out. She may be egotistical, immature, and an arrogant asshole but shes secretly very, very sensitive and insecure.
Almost every scar on her body was made by her, either directly or indirectly. They're passed off as an incident or something someone else gave her.
One day, after an argument with Breeze goes out of hand, she angrily breaks down and shoots her mirror with one of the many guns Evergen gave her. "I just couldn't stand looking at myself anymore"
She borders on "I love me and everyone loves me" and "I hate me and everyone hates me"
She feels that she's not supposed to be like this. "I'm meant to be strong! I'm mean to protect my friends, I'm not meant to be weak! What kinda hero would I be if I were weak? A shitty one, that's what"

The pills on the dresser are the same ones in my "baby hotline" meme. Hazel has a ton of em, they essentially make you completely numb for 20 minutes. Hazel had a problem with those pills after his mother's death.
