yeah pronouns and gender are two different things. Also sexuality is personal, you can be whatever you want.
well pronouns dont equal gender so i guess in a way?? if you dont identify as a male.. i dunno correct me if im wrong
well, both gender and sexuality can be a lot more complex than we might assume at first glance. Lesbians often went by 'he/him' in the past, though for historical reasons. If a lesbian feels that he/him pronouns fit him better than she/her or they/them, then what authority does anyone else have to tell him he can't use those pronouns, or define his preferences in a specific way because of them? Thats my take on it at least. The queer community right now is just a bingo machine of the same discourses rehashed yearly, so at some point you just stop caring about how other people identify themselves.
butch lesbian that goes by solely he/him and masc nouns its just bc i like being referred masculinely but when ppl actually think im a man it feels really disgusting š i just like being masculine, its really positively affirming for me, she/her or they/them have never fit, theres a lot of complexities but like, pronouns dont equal gender is a good way of summing it up, aint a tman, aint no man, just masculine, men cant b lesbians and im really firm on that, if i decided someday i was a tman iād just call myself straight idgaf
just a masc thing that only likes women, butches have historically gone by he/him as well so its not some new woke thing, but its def a confusing subject if you arent one yourself
