Eagleflight and Soil were together in the forest one day, hunting. Soil had a grim and nervous look in her eyes. He was worried since Soil only looked like that when she had bad news. "What's wrong?" Eagleflight asked, worried. Soil looked away, her ears flattening. "I don't think we should be together anymore." Eagleflight felt as if he was stabbed by many thorns. He and Soil had two kits already. Who'd be the father? He thought, worried. "What about the kits?" Eagleflight asked, a mixture of negative emotions swirling in his head. "Tiger can be the dad." She replied simply, then padded off. She's gone forever. Eagleflight thought, depressed. He broke down into tears, shaking.

Eagleflight wanted revenge. He called Ice over and they started planning Soil's friends deaths. Ice and Eagleflight found Ash, Midnight and Glacier, Soil's closest friends. They trapped Ash, Midnight and Glacier on an iced over lake and broke the ice. All three of the she-cats drowned.

Ice and Eagleflight were going to kill Snowy Owl and Hawk, his kids. Snowy Owl broke Ice's neck, killing him. Eagleflight slit Snowy Owl's throat and broke Hawk's leg. Snowy Owl died of blood loss while Hawk starved to death, forgotten. Eagleflight wanted to kill Soil next. Eagleflight managed to kill Soil and he took over the Community, turning it into an anarchy. Eventually, everyone, including Eagleflight, starved under his rule
