Linkever since child hood, around the 4th grade, You/your oc always felt someone was following them around. It was just a hunch, but, no one could prove anything. You/your oc grew a bit paranoid a while, then got used to it. Later in life, you/your oc finds themself looking in the window of a bakery, but then see a figure that wasn't there before standing beside them in the reflection. WWyd?

Everlyn, looked over at the figure and quickly got up and backed away from it, afraid and confused.
The figure wasnt there, but still there in the reflection. "Hi!"
She stared at the reflection. "Who the hell are you? What are you, even?" She took a couple steps back.
He reached for her a little, then backed off. "I am Aphan. I am the mix of two species that well... dont go well together
There was no one there, but the sound of laughter. "Hi!" said a voice from right beside her
"Im... lets say a halfbreed of two species that shouldn't mix," he said cheerfully
He slapped his mouth a few times "were you the one following me around?"
"Im sorry," grinned apologetically, looking back into the window. "Ooh what are you going to get?"
"I got tired of just being ignored cause well...." waves to himself. "this situation. and you were interesting so.."
Blinked "I had new glasses and I had short brown hair that's like not interesting at all"
He shrugged. "to most people, no. the others were mostly loud and annoying."
he looked away. "Uhhhh, Oh look! a new movies coming out! it looks good.
relaxed. "Okay. you probably look insane right now, talking to a window."
"No one talks to me anyway I honestly don't care" he stared walking away

he looked at him, his figure shimmering into view a little, then faded

completely flustered. "uh- Home! I should go home!" he said quickly, high pitched
