The days seemed to get warmer as the summer came to its middle course. He sighed as the warmth of sunlight splotched onto his bushy white coat, cascading a weak glow on the shadowed part of his nest. He was going to become an older brother, but there was nothing to celebrate. He would never have the opportunity to meet them.

He laid in his nest, still asleep and then, he heard it. The pained call of his mother, she was gonna give birth! He could hear her struggling from in the stalls, the rustle of hay whispered in his ears, along with pained groans.

Hours went by and he sighed, he was too tired to care about the newborn. After a while all went silent as finally the birth was over. He sighed, the thought of having a sibling would have been a joyful moment, but he sadly had nothing to be joyful for. He laid his head down and blacked out as drowsiness drifted him to sleep.

He awoke soon enough with food in front of his nest. he sniffed and noticed a strange, salty scent in it: meat. He was confused as to why meat would be in his diet, he was a goat after all. perhaps someone else was instructed to feed him, and since he was a deformity, maybe they thought meat was in his diet as well.

He shrugged as he lifted his fluffy white body out of his nest, slowly padding to the platter of food. He sniffed the fruits and vegetables and found a paw full of raw chicken and beef. He sniffed it and cringed a small bit, but then seemed to enjoy its scent.

He hesitated for a second and finally licked it, he tasted blood, indicating that it was not drained. He took a small bite and purred as the sweet taste of raw meat, and blood had done well for him. He finished the meat and moved on to the plants, they didn't taste as good as the meat, but he liked it anyway.

He finished his meal and yawned, revealing his fangs and then closing his fierce jaws again. He twitched his ears and fell right back to sleep.
