Bavarian sighed, and he decided to take a walk to get away from the others. He stood up, walking into the dull yellow brush. Everything was dying because of the drought, and food was scarcer than ever... He started to unintentionally wander towards the enemy's territory, his mind clouded with thoughts.
Bavarian did a double-take, looking at Serrabi. He didn't recognize her, and he then put 2 and 2 together. She was apart of a different pride, and he jumped. He seemed afraid of her, and he knew his pride leader would want him to kill her. But he couldn't bring himself to it, so he just awkwardly stood there, staring.
(lmao alright)
Bavarian lowered his head just a little, looking around. "I don't really mind, patrols aren't doing their jobs anyway. It might teach them a lesson to keep an eye open rather than goof off..." he rolled his eyes, stepping back a little. He didn't want to keep conversing with her, and he looked around for a quick escape.
Serrabi: she laughed “trust me” she paused for a moment “they’re just jealous. When sprig comes the lionesses will be all over you!” She looked around. “Speaking of which I need to return to my hunt”
(So theirs gonna be a fire and she’s gonna get caught inside so everyone’s gonna think she’s dead. But she dose survive but with terrible burns, one blind eye and no one believes that is her)
Bavarian slightly blushed, chuckling a little. "Well thank you," he looked away, "you should return before you're missed." He looked back at the way he came, noticing the lionesses Serrabi ran into emerging from the bushes. "And before they realize I'm talking to a lioness from a different pride."
(Ooh that's really cool! but poor Serrabi D:)
Bavarian nodded, not saying anything in return. He walked past the lionesses, who glared at him. He looked away from them and returned to his pride, where the leader was up on the ledge. He seemed to be giving a speech, so he hurried over, looking up at him. The leader was announcing the death of a few scouts after they had been ambushed by the enemy pride.
Serrabi: she quickly caught a mearcat before returning to her pride
Leader: “some of the prides beyond our borders have been sneaking over and steeling food! With a famine going on this cannot happen! Some of our lionesses fought bravely to protect our territory we must keep a closer watch over our borders!”
(Sorry again!)
(Don't be sorry, it's ok!)
Bavarian gasped at one of the names, his ears flattening. Some of the other lions held their heads low, beginning to mourn the losses. Once the leader finished the speech of the lost ones, the entire pride roared in sync as a way to pay their respects. It could be heard from miles away, and the crowd scattered once again. Bavarian returned to under the trees, his ears still laid flat. His brother's name had been spoken among the rest of the deceased, and he was having a difficult time accepting the loss. His brother was always there for him, always watching his back and protecting him from the others until he was old enough to fend for himself.
Leader: he paused listening to the roars “keep a close watch on the western borders” he made a low growl and the meeting was finished.
Serrabi: she realized that the Main she had men’t was from the west... ‘I hope he’s alright’ she shoved the thought away rom her mind she couldn’t be worrying for a lion she Bareilly new! She walked over to the food pile wincing at how low it was, she dropped the mearcat and traded it for a smaller bird. Plenty or more important people needed more food than her.
Bavarian kept himself away from the others, it was a hard day for all of them. He sighed heavily, his eyes locked onto the ground. Two males approached Bavarian, and he looked up at them. One of them growled, "you gonna cry because your little 'hero' is dead? He got what he deserved..." he grinned, he just wanted to make Bavarian upset. Bavarian glared at him, "don't you have anything better to do? We all lost someone who meant the world. Go bite a zebra's ass..." he looked away. The lion roared, "what're you gonna do about it?! It's not like you have any worth. You're just an outcast, an abomination to our species!" He raised his big paw into the air, his claws glinting as they slashed into Bavarian's face. His glasses fell off, blood dripping and splattering all over the ground.
Serrabi: she had only taken her fist bite of dinner before one of the patrols asked her to go with them she noodled woofing down her bird and licking her lips before heading of with them, towards the west. She heard the roar ‘he’s in trouble’ she thought anxiously.
(This reminds me a lot of warriors! XD :O what if this was their ancestors!)
Bavarian looked at the blood that gushed from his wound, and he looked up at the male. He stood up, almost towering over him. He growled, unsheathing his big, thick claws. He tackled him and pinned him down, roaring wildly. The other male grabbed Bavarian's mane, ripping him off the other. Bavarian shoved him away, beginning to crush the first lion's throat. He was sick of this, he didn't want to be treated like this anymore!
(that'd be really cool lmao!)
Serrabi: she remembered what’re she was and thought panicking “hey I thing I smell something” she said forcefully shoving her face into the ground “I’m gonna follow it you go on without me!” The other lionesses nodded and Serrabi quickly walked away until she was out of sight than ran for the border. ‘I’m coming’ she paused and heard more roars ‘there’s a fight going on’ snow slowed her pace and weaved trough the grasses trying to touch as little as possible she wanted to see what was goin on.
Bavarian continued to strangle the first lion, completely oblivious to the other. He just wanted them to leave him alone already, he couldn't take it anymore! The first lion kicked at Bavarian, struggling to get away from him. He eventually let go, before he was knocked unconscious.
(sorry for the late reply hhh D:)
(Ohh :D)
Bavarian woke up a few moments later, jumping awake. He looked around nervously, where was he? He noticed he was just a few feet away from where he previously was, "huh?" He said to himself, rubbing his head. He felt something wet, and he pulled his paw back to see it covered in blood. He groaned, noticing the pain in his head now. He stood up, walking back to under the trees, glaring at the other pride members. He didn't want anybody to pay attention to his wounds, so he didn't go to the healer. Besides, his mane probably covered the wound in his head.
Bavarian sighed, watching the lionesses leave the pride to go hunting and scouting. A few males left with them too, probably just to help out with finding food and defending it. It was hard to come by now... he sat up and walked over to a different tree that provided more shade, and he yawned, feeling drowsy from that fight. He shut his eyes, starting to drift off into a nap.
Serrabi: the lionesses and her finished the border patrol and returned to the pride tired and drowsy. They headed towards their dens for the night as a new portal when out in their place. Serrabi tore at the dead planes they had dried up and didn’t provide much comfort but she was existed enough to the point where she almost passed out.
(Time skip?)
Bavarian thought he heard something scream, but he told himself his mind was playing tricks on him. He continued on his way to the lake, the golden rings around his wrists and ankles glowed faintly. He came into Serrabi and her friends' lines of sight, but he still hadn't noticed them because of their coats camouflaging so well.
Bavarian flinched, "oh, I thought it was invisible." He chuckled a little, before taking off his glasses and jumping into the water, accidentally splashing Serrabi. He put his head underwater, letting the water soak into his thick mane. His mane drooped in his face, covering his eyes. He looked silly.
Bavarian smiled back, "that's good. And yeah, I should too." He smiled a little wider, "I hope to see you again soon." He grinned, moving his teal mane out of his face again. He got out of the water, shaking himself violently to get the excess water out of his fur. He walked over to his glasses and put them on, the hot sun starting to dry him off already.
(That's good!!)
