well, there is the color scheme in the image you attached- the orange is nice, creates the idea of friendliness

color scheme is how the colors go together, and I was actually saying they were kinda nice- they flow well together

I would say definitely anatomy- how features like the eyes and the mouth fit on the face maybe shading too- she should try cel shading and I guess cleaner line work? though it could be argued that's a stylistic choice

naw, you're not dumb dude! cel shading is using one darker version/slightly more blue version of the color to shade an object. it's like what's on my pfp, it's hard and you can see clearly where it was shaded Line art/line work is the outline of the drawing that you color
