Your oc lives in a nice little town, you frequent the flower shop a lot, and one day, you find a little bouquet of flowers on your front porch, just a little note of ‘hope you feel better <3’ but nothing other then that, days, weeks go by and you keep getting flowers, but one day, the order sticker is on the tag, they’d forgotten to peel it off, the flowers were sent from the Botany Bar, and the orders number and initials line up with the owner, Wes, you two have been close but you never realized till now it might be more then just business partners, but the flowers simply prove it. What do you do?

Wes is Bi with a heavier leaning towards men,

The young botanist was at the front desk, pollen dusted his glasses and hair, gently wiping it off to squint at the newcomer in the shop he paused, his expression royally flustered once he spotted Ren, especially once his eyes locked onto the bouquet. “Oh dear.” He slowly sinks into his shoulders giving a weak little smile. “I,, forgot to take the tag off,, huh,,,?”

He hesitates and nods quietly, his face a bright pink as he rubs the back of his neck. “Yyyyyehh,,” he shifted in place for a moment, gently cupping one of the leaves of a little plant on the countertop. “I um,, I’m sorry for bein all,, secretive,, bout it-“

He pauses, his expression one that was pleasantly surprised, his voice was soft but slightly happy. “Same,, same way?”

The way his smile seemed to spread and his entire domineer lit up was very visible as he got up from his chair. “Ren I,, you,,?” He didn’t sound even remotely upset, hell, his tone was rather excited, it was clear he wanted to head over and hug the other but was heavily resisting that urge in favor of double making sure, just in case

He’d pause before wrapping his arms around him, it wasn’t a tight hug but it was definitely sturdy, “Oh dear,, I,,” he gently rests his head on Rens shoulder, holding him close. “Dear me,, I should’ve said something sooner Huh,,?”

He’d smile even more, just holding the Cherry faced badger before hesitating for a moment. “Well, um,, would you- like to get lunch?” He knew they should probably stop hugging, they’d been standing there for a bit, but he was enjoying it a bit too much, he didn’t want it to end

He nodded, putting his hands in his pockets giving him a wide smile. “I’ll wrap up in the shop and we can head out?”

Mhm!!!

Alright!! So I’ll assume Wes feeling a bit more romantically towards Bon is a one sided thing? — They where certainly lovely flowers, the petals where soft and clearly he’d taken good care of this batch just as well as the others hed sent, or at least it can rightfully be assumed he sent the others too

Alright!! — Down at the Bar Wes was a bit of a mess, bits of petals and leaves in his hair and tugged in his sweater, pollen smudged along his face and glasses, messing with one of the plants in the back of the main room, when he heard the bar door jingle he jerked over, wiping pollen off his glasses, looking at the door before pausing, staring, his expression becoming slightly embarrassed when he spotted Bon. “Oh dear-“ (If the card or bouquet is visible/with him he looks incredibly flustered)

(Alright “Ah uh, I’m alright.” He gives him a little smile, brushing pollen off his body. “Quite busy though.” He hesitates, looking a little worried. “What brings you here? You’re not one for surprise visits,,?”

He paused, looking slightly shaken before looking down, gently gripping at the edges of his sweater. “Oh,, you,, I forgot the tag,, didn’t I?” He lets out a soft shaky breath through his teeth. “I’m very sorry about that I’m just,, better with- flowers and gifts then- speaking.” He gives him a nervous little laugh, there’s something sad, disappointed even about his body language, but his expression seemed understanding

He hesitates for a moment and nods, shoulders slightly slumping. “I’m- that’s okay, I can understand that,, I’ll- stop sending flowers,, I’ll- see you later.” He stands there for a bit before heading to the back to think and get some work done

Wes spends the day in his botany office before heading home, rather bummed a good majority of the day, but he certainly doesn’t send any more flowers

Wes was mostly home the rest of the day, working on his plants, he was feeling slightly terrible over the flowers, maybe he’d overthought it, I mean they where just friends right? Bon hadn’t been dismissive of his hobby and maybe he’d just,, gotten attached, mistaken it for something else, yeah, he’d made a mistake, part of him was starting to get a knawing feeling he shouldn’t have even tried it, Bon had been right, it was creepy

Lying in bed for the night Wes just- stayed there for a long moment, eventually heading off to rest after a long while, tomorrow was gonna be a day,

“It was long enough to hide his hands He proceeds to cook up a hand” HWHSHFJ —- Wes was out at the shop, in more casual clothes just quietly working, a little more down then usual today, but he didn’t let that get to him

WAHHAHA AWH NO NOT JERRY — Wes seemed slightly startled by Bons appearance, looking over, managing a little smile and nodding. “It was alright.” His voice was slightly subdued, but he’d hurry to fix one of the potted plant displays to busy himself, the heavier air about him had changed, he didn’t want to seem visibly upset- if he guilted him into saying something else he’d feel terrible, he didn’t want that, he did understand, even if it was too well

Oh no the crunchies Also Headcannon that whenever Bon eats something in this rp it’s just always going to be a part of Jerry/j That coffee? Jerry. That candy? Jerry/j — He pauses for a moment, feeling incredibly guilty right off the bat, he did want to, but he couldn’t help but feel like how upset he was had caused this, so he took a deep breath and shook his head slightly. “I just- I don’t-“ he then hesitates for a long moment for sighing softly. “Alright I suppose it wouldn’t hurt, sorry I just-“ he fishes for a decent excuse for the first reaction before just giving him a little ‘I really don’t know’ kind of smile

Only Jerry — He’d gently hug him back, letting go he watched him leave, giving him a little smile. “Alright-“

Wes was fairly curious for whatever was going to happen, sitting there caring for his plants till work was over, and once it was he dusted himself off and started to clean himself up before waiting out by the outside of the Bar for Bon

Wes was rather jolted by the kiss, staring at him for a long moment before giving him a gentle little smile. "Oh, hello-" everything in his brain was a mess right now, was that a friendly kiss?? romantic?? he couldn't tell, and he didn't want to assume wrong, so he just set it aside, heading along with him to the restaurant he listened intently to him talk about it, nodding slightly

Wes was at the door to the greenhouse, petals and leaves along his person, mostly tangled in his hair, pollen smudged along his face and glasses as he looked over to Anthony, pausing he squinted at him for a long moment before taking his glasses off; cleaning them; then looking back over after putting them back on he seemed surprised to see him, “oh dear, Anthony?” (If he has the card or the flowers his expression becomes heavily flustered)

He pauses, his face flushing. “Oh.. I forgot the tag.. huh.” His voice is soft as he slowly sinks into the chair, staring at Anthony with this guilty little expression

He hesitates for a long moment before nodding slowly. “Yeah I um,, yeah- I’m,, not good with- speaking.” He gives him a nervous little smile before gently cupping one of the petals of a plant on the desk. “So I thought,, flowers?”

He perks up a bit. “Well that’s good,, the ones I sent you today where engineered to improve lung health,, one of my favorites,, really puts a benefit to stop n smell the flowers.” He pauses for a moment, realizing that wasn’t needed info. “Um- I’m glad you like them,,”

He looks startled before smiling small. “I’d love to,, there’s a little cafe down the street,, it has really nice tarts,,” his tone becomes slightly more excited as he continues. “there are these little lemon tarts and the filling is just aamazing,, it’s just the right amount of s-“ he pauses. “Actually,, I’ll just get you one, how about um,, tomorrow?”

The way he seems to light up at the simply word ‘date’ a wide slightly lopsided smile crossed his face, showing slightly uneven teeth. “Oh dear- I’d love that,,” his voice was soft as he spoke, looking quite flushed

“See ya tomorrow-“ he sighed happily before pausing, noticing the rose he quietly heads over, very gently picking it up, not realizing it was an accident that it fell he hurried back to the greenhouse, gently trying to plant the little rose, maybe he’d get a bush out of it, and this one would be even more special then the ones he made

Heading to check on the bush the next morning he paused, staring, utterly amazed by it really, he gently started taking care of them, little trimming, water, topping off soil, just taking care of it till Arthur got there

Wes was also dressed a bit nicer then he usually did, he was actually wearing a button up and nice pants for once, but his work boots always stayed the same. “Anthony!” The sheer cheer in his voice was evident as he hurried over. “It’s so lovely to see you,,“ he pauses, wiping his glasses off again before giving him a warm smile. “Not to mention you look lovely,,”

Whahaha yessss) Wes had pollen dusting his face and glasses along with his sweater, he was picking little petals and twigs from his hair, humming to himself, when Randy stepped inside he paused, looking over, he squinted at him for a while before wiping the pollen off his glasses and looking rather startled. “Randy?”

Spotting the card and flowers his face went quite pink. “Oh dear.. I.. I forgot the tag.. huh?” He murmurs, staring wide eyed. “I,, um,, i was very busy today is all-“

He pauses, staring at him before giving him a bashful little smile. “Auwh dear,, well I,, I picked em out for you,, the um, the ones you have now are to help with dreaming,, pleasant ones of course,, and the ones before that improved lung health-“ he hesitates for a moment. “It’s,, oh dear I’m sorry if that comes off a little,, creepy?”

He pauses. “Oh, well I’m glad they’re helping!”
