LinkIve seen a lot of asshole police officers but a lot are actually super chill and funny and also if it werent for police officers u could get robbed killed etc without any consquence to the other side, and without consequences people are more willing to do things

Cops are inside a system that is inherently corrupt that rewards people for using unnecessary force and violence against those who do petty, victimless crimes. Not to mention how protected those corrupt policemen are whenever they do have the opportunity to have consequences for their actions
I agree to some degreeā but i do believe there is police who handle situations appropriately and want to genuinely do what is right.
I am not understanding the comparison you made, why would someone promote Israel? For what reason and how? And even so, I feel like that is a direct choice made inherently against Palestinians.
acab is a stupid phrase that caught on. not all cops are bastards, i assume it was made as an exaggeration to make a point but itās doesnāt work.
the history of police and many police officers are extremely racist and make many people/minorities unsafe
defund the police is a much better statement, since so much money goes into inefficient law enforcement that many donāt trust
I think the phrase only makes police and family of police hate us more for no reason and further divide us. Good police officers can recognize the problematic history and environment of the police. Obviously we shouldnāt tolerate bigotry but this just makes it worse imo

As much as Iām not a fan of the āitās them against usā argument, thatās essentially the deal when it comes to to cops. Yes there are bad Cops and yes there are good cops, but at the end of the day there are choices, and oneās choices define their character. Anyone can make a mistake or anyone can choose to do bad things. If that makes sense.

I think its kind of like politicians giving people power + the ability to basically go unpunished for a lot of brutality/ using unnecessary force can be a bad idea and its why bad things happen a lot to people of color by police far more often than like a regular white guy
