Dion awkwardly stands outside of the restaurant. [Was this the right place? gahh I'm so nervous.. what if he's so totally hot and out of my league?!??]
He squeezes his eyes shut and cautiously opens the door to the restaurant.
Oscar walks through the doors, pretty much thinking the same thing, hoping that he can find his blind date

Dion sat down at their reserved table and awkwardly scrolled through his phone

oscar later came over, clearly seeming a bit lost, but the table that Dion was at was where he was lead, so he couldn't argue
he tilted his head "you waiting for someone too?" he sat down and rested his elbows on the table

he smiles as the two walk, a slight blush on his cheeks. his hands hang at his sides, and he doesn't really notice if his hand bumps against dion's
his face turns a deep maroon, and he smiles a little as their fingers interlock while they walk

Dion smiles, clearly feeling proud of himself as they walk along. He does feel a bit bad about his blind date...but he was really happy right now !!
oscar has a dumb, silly little smile on his face as the two walk, hand-in-hand. he didn't really know where the two were going, but he was enjoying the walk

"..Do you want to go to the beach?" Dion smiles, breaking the comfortable silence. The distant sound of the waves crashing on the shore was comforting as the two continued their walk
"hm-.... ah, sure! i love the beach" he looked at dion with his cute smile as he pushed up his glasses

Dion takes off his shoes and holds them in his hand as he wades into the sand. He turns around, eagerly waiting for Oscar to follow him
oscar rolls up his slacks, and takes his shoes and socks off, walking over to dion, a small smile on his face
Dion chuckles and starts walking, the sand warm on his bare skin. It was nice, just content silence between the two of them as the sound of waves and occasional bird calls fill their senses
Dion smiles, face turning slightly red. he closes his eyes silently
he closes his eyes as well, resisting the urge to look up at him and kiss him, because he knew it would feel too sudden

Dion relishes the silence, feeling just a tinyy bit sleepy. His breathing was soft and he sits still

Dion felt something warm on his forehead but he was too sleepy to open his eyes. The ground was scratchy but there was a comforting presence around him, so he dare not disturb it

Dion wakes up a little late in the night, and slightly cringes. He looks at his phone and sends a message to his blind date, apologizing for not being there. (HE STILL DOESNT KNOW LMAO)
he looks around, and at oscar
oscar is looking at his phone, sitting up. dion can't really see his face
"yeah....." he whispers a bit, turning off his phone and putting it in his lap
"what was that?" Dion rubs his head, brushing some sand off his clothes
"nothing..... it's alright" he brings up his hands and he nestles his face into his hands, clearly not happy at all
"...What's wrong?" he whispers, "Don't cry, dear." he smiles softly, patting his head
"please, tell me what's wrong."
he sniffled a bit "my little sister got adopted yesterday and my blind date said that he wouldn't try to meet up with me ever again..... i'm such a f*cking failure..." his long pointy ears tilted down a bit, he kept his face in his hands
"Don't cry, don't cry." dion whispers, gently rubbing his back
"You're not a failure, for the record, this is one of the best dates I've ever had." Dion smiles
"I'm sure your blind date didn't mean it, may i see the message?" he smiles, hugging him
he opened his phone, and it opened right to the messages. the number at the top was the same as Dion's
Dion freezes and clears his throat awkwardly "I-I'm sure that the sender of the message didn't mean it in that way."
he sniffles again "you don't need to pretend..... i know it was you...." he wiped his eyes "i heard your phone pinging the same times that i sent messages....."
"I'm so sorry dear..." Dion buries his head in his shoulder
"i really didn't mean it like that, I just wanted to apologize for not showing up. You're really wonderful..." he whispers, rubbing his back
he sighs and stands up "i have to go home anyway.... i'm sorry, but-... i just...." he puts his socks and shoes back on, and rolls back down his pant-legs
Dion nods understandingly, but shows no sign of going. "Alright, have a nice trip home." he whispers
he leaves, guilt, sadness and regret filling him as he walks away from Dion, not even sure if he could face him again
Dion stayed by the ocean side, gazing out.
The sun was yet to rise, so he decided to enjoy the starry sky for as long as he could.
dion got a text from oscar's number. it said *i'm sorry for that. but i need some time to think*
Dion sends a thumbs up emoji and types "It's fine." he sets his phone down and watches the sunrise

The next morning, Dion wakes up in bed, his hair a mess. He almost didn't want to wake up, feeling the blankets wrap him in a soft and loving hug. He struggles to get on his feet and dress for the day

Dion groggily answers, rubbing his eyes slightly. He opens the door, clearing his throat
"Hello?"
oscar is standing at the door, his eyes downcast. he then looks up at dion "you just.... left your location on, and i wanted to say somthing"
Dion nods silently, rubbing his eyes again. [It was still early morning, he was trying his best to comprehend the situation.]
"What is it?"
he walked a bit closer, his body leading him rather than his brain "i'm sorry that i left yesterday, and i didn't mean any of it....." he couldn't really find the right words to say that would let him know how he felt about last night
Dion holds up his hand "no, I'm really sorry. I didn't mean for my message to convey that message, and I really didn't mean it at all." he lowers his gaze
he sighed, not even able to really find his voice "i-... i just... you're so nice.... and i think that you're way too nice for me.... i-... dunno...." he mumbles a little, looking at his feet
Dion gently places his hand on his shoulder
"You're not giving yourself enough credit." he smiles "you're one of the sweetest people on earth, I can guarentee. Don't say things like that."
he looks up at dion, tears slightly pooling up in his eyes "b-but.... i-" he tenses up slightly, not knowing what to do or say, really
"No buts." he smiles, shushing him like a little kid.
"You're amazing, and that's it."
he blushes when dion shushes him as if he were a kid, and he leans forward, his head resting on dion when he does
he looks up at dion "i'm sorry.... again...." his voice is very quiet now
"You don't have to be." he whispers "So please, don't feel bad!"
"you had a reason for that." he nods "You had every reason in the world, so i understand. All that matters now is that things are sorted out, right?"
Dion continues his routine of patting his head and occasionally wiping a tear away
"I'm gonna make sure that you're not alone until ya feel better, okay?" he smiles, patting his cheek
he shakes his head softly and he sighs "whatever you say" he says quietly, a small smile on his face
Dion gives him a soft peck on the cheek "How about now? are ya feeling better now?"
Dion lets out a happy huff, [mission accomplished?] he thinks, smiling
he looks up at dion and takes a deep breath, moving his face forward and kissing dion gently, pulling back after a quick second
Dion smiles, blushing a bit. [aww that was so sweet!] he thinks, smiling even more
he starts moving forward and out of dion's doorway, walking dion back so that he could close the front door with his foot
Dion tilts his head curiously, but lets it all play out. [What's next?] he thinks
"it was getting cold...." he says simply, his face still in dion's chest
Dion smiles affectionately and he pats his head "want me to get a blanket for you?"
"n-no..." he looks up at dion "i was just talking about the outside breeze....." he blushed a bit from the thought of snuggling in a blanket with him
"b-but..." he rested his head on dion's shoulder "it... it would be nice to share one" he mumbled softly
"ah, of course!" Dion smiles, standing up briefly to retrieve a knitted quilt to wrap around both of them
he blushes so much while dion wraps the blanket around the both of them, a stupid smile on his face
Dion rests his head lazily on Oscar's shoulder and he lets out a cute sigh.
"better now?" he smiles
he nods as he leans his head on dion's head, smiling like a real idiot <3333

Dion smiles contentedly and closes his eyes
he lightly pecks the top of his head, staying like that for a minute with his head facing dion
DIon continues to rest his head on Oscar's shoulder, eyes half opened
even though he was a TOTAL bottom, and this was not something that he would've normally done he looked at dion as if he was expecting something from him, his expression kind of like that of a clingy person's after they didn't get a hug

Dion opened his eyes and gave him a quick kiss. "I'm kinda sleepy...sorry..." he mumbles sheepishly

he giggled a bit "thats alright, i can tell" he was very warm, even if the two weren't wrapped in a blanket, he would still be naturally very warm

Dion rests his head and closes his eyes again. He yawns quietly

oscar was still asleep, and he had managed to maneuver himself in his sleep so that his head was resting on dion's lap

It was in the afternoon, and he was still sleepy. Great. He'd missed work. Well, worth it

Dion laughs "Good afternoon to you too." He giggles "did you sleep well?"

oscar whines a bit now that his 'pillow' had just gotten up, but he sat up
The temperature was cool and woke up DIon a little better, and he let out a breath

"oh, sorry." dion laughs sheepishly "well, Ms. tello, do you like sweets?" he smiles, showing her the bag of baked goods
