Sunny is part Icewing

Skywings are stupid: in book 8, Peril wears her necklace, which would have MELTED if the necklace didn't take away her firescales. So, once the skywings saw the necklace and realized it wasn't melting, Peril would be dead because the Skywings would know that she is harmless.

There have been two Jerboas that have both been animuses and both been Sandwings and BOTH gone missing. What's the likeliness of that?
