I put on muscle pretty easily, but I can't get rid of my fat as easily as I'd like. I think I'm just expecting too much, but can you offer types of exercise to cit my chub?

stretches in the morning. start small, do 5 push-ups and 5 curl-ups wall sits squats lunges. then do after stretches to make sure you don't strain your muscles.

That's a great idea, I'm too fat to push up, but I'll do the rest, and maybe some bench presses to make up.
