You run out the door and down the street to your job,it’s gotten colder since you left the cafe and it seems as if it’s about to rain. Eventually you reach your job,your coworker stands at the door holding it open for you. “T-thanks” you say shivering from the cold wind “Took you long enough!”says your boss as you take your jacket off “unless you didn’t notice your late!!”he yelled

Your coworker attempts to defend you but gets yelled at aswell. You go into the back kitchen and put your apron on and you start rolling out the preset dough on the counter. “Nobody even comes here,this place is always empty”you think to yourself Your boss yells from the other room to pick up the pace. A few hours later it’s it’s starting to get lighter outside you realize that you worked all night and that it’s 5am

You take your apron off but as soon as you put it down your boss storms into the kitchen talking about how the newbie that has next shift couldn’t come in this morning so that you’ll have to cover for them. “But sir that’s not fair-“ “Life’s not fair sweetie!” He says chuckling to himself. “You know what” you shove the apron in his face and head to the door “I quit” “HEY YOU CANT-THATS NOT-“ he shouts after you You walk out as he stands there throwing a fit
