So your oc was wandering the desert after it had rained for the past few days and it was finally clear (their intentions are up to you on why they were out lol) They had been wandering on their presumed horse or muel or whatever they prefered for roughly 3 hours until they came by a temporary river in a small canyon, and they decided to go over there and refill their water bottle and give their animal some hydration but before they could start down to the canyon they heard a gunshot, though they possibly assumed it was some other people hunting or something along those lines so your oc shrugged it off and started back down roughly 50 feet away from the river they stopped apon hearing two men's voices one vengeful and treatining and the other seemed weak and defeated their words weren't easy to make out but all that was properly audible was "if your wounds won't kill you first the water sure will" 1/2

Once your oc finally understood the situation going on after the sound of the struggling and loud splash and went to confront the situation but the moment they hopped off the horse the person noticed them and mumbled some profanities under his breath before hopping back on the horse and speeding off before your oc could get a good look finally done owie

The man rolled himself onto his back with a wince, just trying to get his breathing back in order. But now that his face is more visible this isn't just some unfortunate soul that got the backlash of someone's anger, this was one of the most wanted men within 100 miles of this area, identifiable with his long black hair and iconic scarring. He froze a bit and held a hang up "W-wait-!" He was cut off by a violent string of coughing, gagging and raspy gasps as he held his hand over his mouth, turning his head towards a large satchel partially hidden in some distant bushes

The moment Blackburn started towards the bag his panic became evident. He attempted to push himself up but his arms gave out, landing him to the ground once again, and apon realizing he can't do anything, Wiley just rasped out a small wimper But the satchel strangely began to move a bit in a few squirmy motions there was definitely something alive in there

Whatever was in the bag paused at his voice before struggling a bit more until the bag opened and a *very* young child popped their head out, little thing couldn't possibly be any older than two as they just stared at him with curiosity but, the thing is this was definitely wileys kid, with the same thick black hair, pale olive skin and dark green eyes with a hazel ring near the pupil, this was most likely why he was so desperate to get the bag

The child was silent for a moment before the biggest smile spread across their wace followed by a giggle, that was until they noticed Wiley who was just motionless on the ground, but the child instead of freaking out, did grabby hands towards him, followed by them seeming to call out to him

It came out fairly easily considering it's position, but Wiley didn't move or flinch at all which is a bit concerning, but at least he isn't in pain

Wiley seemed a bit better than he was before, and likely didn't react much because ofnhow much blood he lost, probably made the wound completely numb, but the water being poured over that area seemed to bug him a bit

Wiley still proceeded to remain out cold, most likely for a while considering what just happened to him. His child on the other hand, just waddled over to him and plopped down next to him, poking his cheek with her finger

The child was hanging around him, that was until she noticed wiley was finally awake and sped over to the bed, making excited child noises, Wiley was very confused about the situation but the amount of relief he showed when seeing his child in his presence and okay is indescribable, as he just picked her up and smothered er in fatherly affection

Wiley tensed up hearing the other person's voice, but he slowly started to realize that wasn't a dream, he isn't in his usual sleeping area, and worst of all he did get a nasty scar. Although he did calm down at the fact his child is okay

Wiley eventually ate what he was given, fairly quickly because well, poor man's an absolute twig. Once the child was finished he grabbed up both of the dishes and limped out of the room with the little rascal following him, also looking around for Blackburn aswell, to properly thank him

Wiley set the plates neatly next to the sink before hesitantly speaking "Uhm, hello" he was indeed kind of fearful of this person, because one can never be too careful when your history is that messy
