So basically I thought I was straight for a really long time, but when I joined the sonic fandom I noticed that a lot of people thirsted over shadow. And sure a lot of people don’t find sonic characters attractive but not a lot of people have severe visceral reactions to other people’s thirst posts. So I had to put in some research and found my label apothisexual which is basically asexual but also s_xy stuff really grosses me out. Like the whole time growing up I was convinced that the gross feeling I felt was attraction, when actually it was the urge to throw up. Then I grew overly attached to knuckles and rouge and decided to headcanon them as ace too. Anyway That’s how sonic opened the floodgates for me to realize I was not straight and accept myself

There are different types of attraction yk, I’m very attracted aesthetically to women and men but wouldn’t want to do anything with em, maybe it has something to do with that
