Tw: mentions of drugs -------- Apfel was born in Rheinhessen Germany in early fall, just as the apples on his family's farm ripened enough for picking, his mother, lazily named him Apfel after the harvest going on that day. Apfel's mother wasn't exactly a "bad" person, she had just been through some stuff and any time she could have saved for her son went to heroin, she was extremely addicted to the point where Apfel and his father found themselves growing more and more afraid of her, Apfel however, in a way to cope spent a lot of time out of the house with a girl he fancied who taught him the ways of styling the way he wanted to, (continued)

While his father, worked hard, to make enough money to pay for a one way ticket to America, where Apfel, and Apfel's father could escape his mother. Apfel's father also learned as to what Apfel had been up too, he loved Apfel but did not like Apfel's choices Fashion wise. He didn't gripe about it however, as Apfel's father was taught not to complain about such foolish things they did not understand, so he didn't bother Apfel, eventually gaining enough cash to move to the Americas! And so, Apfel and his mother rolled out of Germany, and moved to New York, where his father purchased a small flower shop, to continue working with plants, Apfel ofc enjoyed helping his father with work, and after his father passed away continued to man the shop, making it his own pride and joy Uh ty for listening
