you live in this dense part of a forest, everyday you go out and you take care of your flower garden. recently you have been finding little trinkets, shiny bottle caps, a random little wild flower and one time one of your socks all in the same spot.
today, when you went to your garden, you found a bug there. or at least it looked like a bug, it flew away too fast for you to see it clearly, leaving a button where it stood.
your grandmother always told you stories of the faeries and immediately you connected the two.
that night, after a rather strange dream(not a part of the story just wanted to wake the oc) you find yourself outside, staring up at the sky and tree tops. or, you thought they were treetops till you sat up and realized you we in your garden and the size of a bug. you hear some movement behind you, turning you see two dark eyes staring at you from the dark.

Juno stared, examining him from a distance. she was just as surprised as him, she didn't do this little prank and was wondering if there was another of her kind floating around somewhere.
He seemed a little too calm, considering his surroundings and what was staring straight at him
she blinked then crawled out from under the leaf she used to hide. her wings fluttered slightly as she tilted her head.
she didn't answer, she was still trying to figure out why he was tiny herself.
He crawled back a little, frightened by her. He was so confused on why any of this is happening. he just missed being his old 6,2 self
she crouched down, crawling towards him like a curious animal, keeping her wings low to look smaller and less intimidating.
He allowed her to get closer, still terrified as hell, looking around
once she was close enough to touch him she stopped and sat on her legs.
"you are not supposed to be here."
¨What do you mean? this is my own garden, i think i should be aloud to...¨ he looked around again
"no, no i don't mean that, i mean you're supposed to be in bed not out here. i don't care if you're in the garden during the day but at night i do. i don't want you here, its mine at night."
she was clearly a bit upset, but wasn't going to do anything about it. "why are you small anyway? aren't you like, 6ft normally?"
¨Well ive been trying to figure out why im ant-sized.. Wait.. What do you do with my garden at night..? are you the animal that keeps on taking my flowers..?¨
"i am not an animal."
she glared slightly. "i take care of it, i make sure its residents are happy."
¨What do you mean residents..? are you one of the faeries my grandma told me about...¨
"shes one of them. you scared her though so shes hiding."
the fairy almost sounded accusatory, putting her arm down and reaching out slightly to inspect him more.
she grabbed onto him, turning his head and body as far as they could go just to check him out. she then crawled around him, to get an even better look.
He just stood there, terrified trying to stutter out words, yet failing
she suddenly stopped, her wings fluttered slightly then she quickly flew under her leaf again.
the sound of sniffing could be heard, meaning an animal was near by.
she hurried back out, grabbing him and going back under the leaf. a fox came out of the bush, sniffing about and when not finding anything moved along.
no, its okay, i would just prefer if you didn't interact if you don't want to do it.

She's squinting into the dark, "Wh-who are you? Did you do this?", she doesn't sound angry, more confused.
Juno stayed under her leaf staring. it took her a moment to answer, she was still processing that here was someone in the garden at night.
"no, i didn't."
Lantuns looks around, and looks a bit frightened, "Do you mind if I hide there with you?".
"why would you need to hide? there is nothing out here, i already checked." she blinked for the first time then crawled out from under the leaf.
"Oh, well, that's good.", she summons up a floating lantern, "That means I can have one of these with me without drawing any attention.".
(Sorry if my writing feels a bit clunky, I haven't done one of these in awhile.)

"Oh uh, nevermind.", she looks a bit dismayed, and puts the lantern back, "Well, my name is Lantuns, what's yours?".
she blinked. "you're lucky i don't want to steal that from you. don't go around telling random faeries your name. as for mine i don't trust you im not sharing."

mood, kinda same?. im half asleep might pass out mom woke everyone up at 2 because she was having a bad panic attack (not mad at her for that btw im explaining) and we didn't go back to sleep till like, 5. had to get up at around 8-9 so we could pick up groceries.
