Linkbasically schools across the nation are doing a walkout either to the capitol or walk outside the school to protest the ICE raids
for me im just doing the walkout and the poster im holding is a recreaton of the one im using

LinkBUT EVERYONE IN THE AISD AREA OR IN GENERAL PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL AND PEACEFUL,VIOLENCE NEVER SOLVED ANYTHING AND IT WONT GET OUR MESSAGE ACROSS IT'LL ONLY LEAD TO MORE HARM PLEASE PROTEST WITH PEACEFUL INTENT
im SUPER REALLY serious guys the ONLY protest that is GOOD and LAWFUL is a peaceful one clashing,throwing and violence never solves anything and this protest is importent i dont wanna see any of ya'll hurt so be respectful,peaceful and let your voice be heard but in a reasonable manner

LinkI had fun and there was a video drone and already theres a news article and picture of my schools protest sadly most of the images are blurry and i didnt see me in said pictures but the protest JUST ended so-
This shouldn't have been happening in the first place, especially if it's people who are here legally
im glad too but everyone who does SHOULD be respectful and dont be violent
Yea, they're the ones causing the violence and abusing their power after all
exactly and i myself was affected by ICE or well my brother was I didnt share this story due to it being so personal and involving a member of my family and confidentiality but i feel i should
my brother has been sick with acid reflex and his stomach hurts and has been vomiting so hes been staying at home well during the verison nationwide outtage my brother was asleep when he heard a loud BANG and a loudspeaker saying "COME OUT WITH YOUR HANDS UP" my brother rushed to the door and saw a bunch of armored ICE members with guns drawn ACROSS the street from us my brother panicked locked the doors and turned off the lights and hid in the bathroom he couldnt EVEN communicate what happened and was scared when we came home he ran to us hugging us crying and shaking he then told us what happened and i've been REASONABLY upset since
my mom has told us what to do since and we know our rights hince why im going to the protest
not just ICE: protesters should also be responsible in being peaceful and not instigating or baiting ICE just be respectful and protest peacefully thats all im asking =w=
That's so horrible... I hope that never happens in my area because I'm in a smaller county in the US
Thank you. I'm especially scared because I'm the youngest in my family and my older brother just turned 18 in November.
Because being kidnapped/taken against my own will is one of my worst fears, next with being SA'd, which is LITERALLY what they're doing to everyone the capture for some reason. Why do they even do that?
on the positives tomarrow is my 2 year anniversery with my BF and we are gonna see iron lung so yippee
ICE made me homeschooled now and I cant see my friends anymore so im bored asf AND IM MISSING OUT!! And what ICE is doing is pretty annoying now
