Nicole was walking through the market, with a basket hanging from her wrists so she can grab food as she passes by stands.

Elise, with just her bare hands, goes thru the apples, trying to find a single non-rotten apple.
Nicole stands right beside Elise, scanning over the apples. "Do you need help?" She asks Elise.
Elise with a flustered face, as she was surprised by the encounter. "Oh, Yes of course. The apples are no joke this time. " Elise said as she made room for Nicole.
Nicole laughs a bit and starts sorting through the apples. "My father owns an apple farm in the open lands, so it's very easy to find rotten apples, atleast for me it is." She hands Elise a healthy apple.
Elise would smile, as she took at apple. "Why, thank you. " She would take out a few coins and hand them to her. "For your help!"
Nicole hands them back. "Please, there's no need for that! You should be paying the owner of this stand instead, and you should keep as much money as you can. The farther you go down the rows, the better, and tastier the food gets." She says with a grin.
Nicole looks away for a brief second, trying to see if she can spot someone in the crowd. "My name?" she says. "Oh, my name is Nicole. Not that it's important, though." She places some apples in her basket, and then turns her gaze back onto Elise. "And what is yours, if I may ask?"
"Well, Im Elise. Are you looking for somebody?" She says as she tilts her head, looking at her ripened apple.
"Sort of, I was supposed to meet with someone." She sighs and shakes her head. "I guess the didn't show up."
"Ooh, someone special? A friend? Come on fill me in! " She says as she paid for her apple.
Nicole looks away embarrassed, "My father is trying to set me up with some men, he's been failing, recently." She says laughing, almost.
" Ah, Arranged marriage? That seems to suck. Would you like to grab a coffee with me? My friend was supposed to here with me 30 minutes ago, but it seems they havent showed up either. " She says as she looks at the coffee shop across, with its wooden sign.
"Oh, that would be lovely!" She says, smiling. "I haven't had my coffee today, and I need coffee to function in the day."
"Coffee helps me calm my nerves, you know?" She says as she opens the door to the small shop.
"Oh, Absolutely." Her eyes wander around the shop, still looking for that one person.
"Tea, green please. You? " She asked Nicole, pulling out her purse.
"What? Oh. I'll just have a black coffee." She pulls out her purse also. "I'll pay for my own drink."
" Oh alright! Black Coffee it is. " She hands her money to the person at the counter, and picks up her drink in her teacup.
Nicole sets her money on the counter and grabs her coffee. "I think they are here, the man I was suppose to meet."
" At this coffee shop..? " She titled her head, as she sipped her tea.
She nods, "We were supposed to meet for coffee. Maybe he came here instead of meeting me at my house."

" Ooh! You can go and see him, if you'd like. " She would smile, closing her eyes.
Nicole laughed quietly. "I don't know if he is actually here, I said he might be. Might."

" Might is more than nothing, look around, I'll just be sitting here.'' She says as she sips more tea.

"Truth is," she says as she takes a sip of her coffee. "I don't even know what he looks like."
