anyways they took a shortcut through a small neighborhood where there was the sound of screaming and arguing, your oc decided "oh well such is life"
then oh my god out of nowhere a small lady with white hair and like, vintage looking clothing just appeared and clung onto your oc, trembling violently and just sobbing

She just held on so tightly to this person, just sobbing intensely. Her reaction is almost that of someone who pretty much just stared death right in the eyes. The sudden slam of a door across the street caused her to jump and somehow sob even harder

Hoshi slammed the door behind him and he ignored the sounds of his dad calling after him. He just kept going. As something flew past him and almost took his head off he began to run. He looked like just some dude on a run. His long messy hair in a low pony tail flowing behind him. As the tall 7'4" male was slowing down to a Jog he crashed into a much smaller person. He saw them sobbing and heard his father yelling and following him. His eyes went back to her and he groaned softly grabbing her hand and pulling her onto his back and running into the trees near by. Hoshi ran to a old tree house and climbed into it still holding her on his back. He set her down once inside and looked over her gently making sure she wasn't hurt. "Whats wrong...you act like a murderer just came after you with a ax-" Talk about insensitive. His tone proved he was worried...his words...kinda a bad time but..he meant well.
She was honestly too stunned from everything that has just happened but the manages to cooperate "w-well that-" she choked on her own words "That's basically what happened"
She just sniffled a bit and seemed to just stop on command, still covering er eyes

Hoshi smiled softly. "You have lovely eyes. I know you cant'n see mine but i have an eye like that. I keep mine covered most the time because I was born with a lazy eye...can't see shit out of it-" He gently took her hand applying pressure to different spots. "Me grandmum taught me this. She did lots of that voodoo stuff. Grandmum taught me everything she knew. I takes care of her now. Me father doesn' like her much. Not sure why guess he didn' like ma either tho. I left home because of him...I knowz I have to go back, for gran, but don't for him. Grandmum is blind..that waz the original religion I brought her up...wait..thats not the right word is it-" The man has never gotten an ounce of education. His dad always said he was getting home schooled...and he kind of was...by an blind lady who was loosing her memory and had only learned to read from a dyslexic man whom she worked for. So yea....he is not exactly smart..but he is the most caring person you ever did meet.
She nodded a bit in understanding, kind of enjoying the attention
Hoshi nods. "Emma, I always liked that name!" He leans back on a pillow. "If you ever need to run away, just come here...I'll make a path, or do something so you can make your way back...I'll give you my phone number as well...I have a Braille type writer thingy SO i can help you learn it-"
