After watching his parents be killed right in front of him, Riverstar has to live his life without his Mom and Dad. Although he can't see them until he's older and or dead, they both made sure to always be with him when times get tough. Riverstar does live with a parent figure, Angelwing, throughout his life. Angelwing swears to protect and mentor Riverstar as he grows up, and always be there for him. Riverstar, later on, becomes the second healer of Thunder Pack. Making Angelwing, Sunrange, Crippleleaf, and the entire pack are very proud of his success.
