Okay so a while back I had this friend group where if u we’re friends with someone in the group u basically had to be nice to all of their friends or the entire friend group would attack you- and this was on fa btw. I dunno if they’re still active so I’m not gonna name names- Anyway so a while back when I was getting like a crap ton of motivation to draw I was redrawing some stuff and one of my friends friendss…was copying me. Like straight up taking my art and replacing it with their character. And whenever I’d draw something new on karma..they’d make an oc with that new thing as well and sometimes outright just steal design aspects from my character Big argument happened and I was basically exiled but a lot of people saw what was happening and got onto them too. Ever since I’ve been like super paranoid when I see people saying “omg ur my biggest inspiration!!” And notice small things and like I don’t say anything I’m just paranoid about it I don’t hold any grudges or anything against them but ik

Trying to find the line between simplicity and originality was hard tho and I get really frustrated about it idk why- it's like I put a lot of work into trying to make my character perfect for me and I instantly get reminded of that one person when I get paranoid
