Amberstorm is an orange tabby she-cat with socks marking on her front left leg and a thinner back left leg, which is tied to a stick with a long leaf. She is a medicine cat of Wildclan

Kit life: She is born with one of her leg being thinner than her other legs. Her mother, Flame-eye (her face got caught on fire when she was younger, luckily she survived, but half of her face [including her right eye] got burned) was happy due to her being a healthy, surviving kit (no, she don’t have a stillborn sibling, but stillborn recently happened to their clan). However, not too long after Amberkit opened her eye and tries to take her first steps, she noticed that Amberkit have trouble standing and balancing. At first, she thought this is probably normal, but she then realized how thin Amberkit’s back left leg, which made her worried. She immediately talks to the medicine cat, Stripeleaf, about Amberkit’s thin leg and her balancing problem. Stripeleaf admitted that this isn’t normal, but tells Flame-eye to wait till Amberkit grows up, just in case the leg grows to a normal size, before Stripeleaf do anything.

But as she grows up and at that time 5 and a half-moons old, the thin leg is still thin (it does grow higher as Amberkit’s body height grows for some reason). Flame-Eye told Stripeleaf about this, but Stripeleaf is confused by this. She ends up giving her a stick as a support and tied it with a long leaf. However, since it was a pretty heavy stick, it slows Amberkit down and she is unable to hunt or flee from enemies. Since it might be dangerous to let her be a warrior, Stripeleaf made Amberkit her apprentice.

Apprentice life: Amberpaw’s apprenticeship is rather hard, since she can’t remember some of the herb’s uses. However, she has good picture memory, and she remembers the shape of herbs rather quickly. Because of her picture memory being better than her memory of herb uses, she often got sent out to gather herbs or treat small scars/injuries.

One day, she went out to gather herbs when she found one of her kithood friend, Silverpaw, deeply injured because of rouge attack. Amberpaw quickly tries to close the scars with cobwebs (since she forgets which herbs is used to heal deep scars), but it was too late, and Silverpaw died because of injuries and blood loss. Amberpaw felt guilty, and refused to go anywhere outside of the medicine den that day. However, the guilt sparks her spirit. She then learns harder, and after a while finally memorized the uses of every herb. Because of her quick act during healing clanmates, as well as her fiery spirits, she (this is a rather weird name for a med since she originally supposed to be a warrior, so all I can think of is giving some reasons of her naming) received her medicine cat name: Amberstorm.

I haven’t think of stories beyond her med cat ceremony, so yeah that’s all for now.
