Linkanyways apology to the good bi community for being kind of wary of you guys as a whole because of battle axe bis that say shit about me because im pan or even if they do support pansexuals theyll still go after other mspec identities like omnisexuals or polysexuals,,,, please do not take it personally

Linkevery time i see someone whos bi now i feel compelled to shuffle a few inches away and you can blame b-abs. trying to get better at that but sometimes even if someone supports pansexuals theyll go after other mspec identities for the same reasons people go after pansexuals
im going to refer to it endearingly as bi supremacy but like,, im so tired of watching people labelling others as bi or claiming a sexuality is 'biphobic' or some shit just for being similar. there's some overlap in nonbinary identities occasionally and yet you dont see anyone (or at least i havent seen anyone) screaming 'enbyphobe' every time it happens. because you know what? it's not. it's not phobic to want to specify with your sexual orientation. its not phobic to just feel more comfortable with a label just because. im not a biphobe because im pan but im sure as hell more likely to hate bi people as a whole (again, i kind of automatically am wary of them because of this) because there's a shit ton of people that hate me-

LinkALSO YES I HAVE IDENTIFIED AS BI BEFORE AND I ****ING HATED IT. cope, dumbass. i did it once when i was younger and moved on and once a while back when my favorite battle axe bi (and ableist, and transphobe) convinced me that being pan made me lesser in her eyes. and you know what? that felt horrible <3 for a community built on encouraging people to express themselves in their own way and making themselves comfortable with their identity there sure is a lot of identity gatekeeping
