Ebony snorts with laughter and pauses, focusing on absolutely nothing as he then shakes himself and kneels, removing Kalebs other eye.

Ebony comes back quite quickly though with a small handbag and picks Jay up. “Okay, are you scared of heights??” He sounds slightly panicked.

Ebony simply puts it in his pocket after pulling a small dagger and a set of goggles out of it. “Here we go.”

Ebony just sits down and cleans the dust and stuff off the goggles, sadness in his expression but it’s hidden slightly well by concentration.

Tanner was nice but he was very deprecating towards me, Stanley was an abusive alcoholic.. Connor was quite possibly the worst and tried to kill me several times didn’t care when I hurt myself, liked making me do shit that made me uneasy, I almost killed myself, but connors dead so no worries about him.. Raven was super nice but he was really really depressed all the time and I know he didn’t mean to but it hurt me when he’d hurt himself.. and sometimes he’d hurt me but that’s was only like... once every six years..” Ebony slowly voice is very quiet as he explains

No response, but there’s a pale white feather about eight feet away from the coat, it’s almost like a trail of em..
The fact theirs golden blood on the end of the feather just shows it’s Ebonys, and their are more, all evenly spaced eight feet away from eachother
Their leading deep into the forest, he probably shouldn’t be doing this alone, and something flashes overhead, like a large bird
It has a very human shape.. it could be Ebony, and what let’s Jay know it is is the fact it twists and rips out a feather from its wings and drops it eight feet infront of Jay
