okeoke so the base of it is using different colours to shade
red can be shaded with purple
orange with red or burgundy
yellow with pink, yellow, or orange
green with blue or cyan
blue with purple
purple with blue or magenta
so after you choose your shading colour put it on say 0.15 opacity and go over your base shade over and over until you get a clean shade between your base shade and shading colour, then I usually highlight with either a lighter colour of the base shade or if I'm feeling fancy, I would highlight red with pink, orange with yellow, yellow with pale pink, green with a light blue, blue with light green, and purple with pink
