Your roomie, Shade was acting a little off lately, one of the odd things he had done was he stopped drinking, you were actually happy that he stopped drinking. You felt it was a nasty habit he needed to kick, so you were proud that he did. Though he did have more of an appetite than usual because of it. He wasn't as nice or kind either, he had gotten bitter. One of the other things that changed was that he'd disappear in the woods for days on end, and you wouldn't hear anything from him. One day you came home from work and saw him drunker than you had ever seen him, he had an ax in hand as well, giggling with extremely slurred speech, he wasn't speaking English either, it was just Russian. His ears were perked as well, he seemed out of it completely, he looked extremely depressed too. You also notice that he had a dog in his lap, a pit bull to be exact, he also had a cougar to the left of him, sitting next to him. He noticed you, his ears flattening as he made a low growl, gripping the ax tightly.
