LinkCarbide, (In this case Percy), is remembering the very awkward, very scarring trial, where he was convicted of murder. But, after a fair amount of consideration from the jury and judge, he was granted a little bit of time to gather enough evidence to prove that he was innocent, because the judge, Chess Robinson, sensed that there had to be some misunderstanding, as he knew Carbide since he was a teenage boy, and he never showed any signs of having homicidal tendencies. The same could not be said for Hazel, who was the original suspect of the murder. It really did seem like he was just another victim of Hazel's manipulative behavior.
