latronix latronix are the undead spirits of roadkill, and they have no need to eat or drink. they are usually found in near highways in neighboring forests and sometimes can be seen wandering the road in oncoming traffic instead of dying their raccoon form wears out and they melt into snakes. slowly they reform back into raccoons, but the process can take months or even years to complete latronix are not often seen during the day either, hiding in holes and shadows to avoid the sunlight. they become significantly weaker when they are exposed to the sun and can even melt back into snakes if they spend too long when threatened, latronix can expel thick black smoke from their mouths similar to a squid, and use it to confuse others and get away they are considered a pest because they tend to cause traffic accidents and jams, especially in the night when visibility is low
