LinkI get so annoyed when someone tells somebody to, 'get over it.'
Example: Somebody got broken up with and is crying, and somebody tells them to 'get over it.' It seems like you are helping, but sorry, people need time to get over things, everyone is different and should not be rushed based on you.

LinkIn certain cases, it's completely fine, but that is not one of them. Another example, if someone died, you can't just say, 'get over it.' I'm sorry it's just really annoying to see that.
But if somebody is being bratty, ect. I think it is a good case to tell them to get over something. Just don't tell someone having a hard time that. If you want to help them, cheer them up by doing something with them.
