"Do you think they could join us?" "If they'd like, sure." "We'd love-" Mercury was cut off by Jupiter. "We'd like to. How long of a journey is it? We have kits here." "It shouldn't be that long. It's just near the lake down there." Axxa replied, flicking his bushy tail to where he mentioned. "Great. Mercury, go get the others." Mercury slid into one of the dens, and shortly came back after. Sand, and Fang, along with Elliot, Star, and their kittens, followed him. "Where are we going?" one of the kittens, Onyx, squeaked. "We're going on an adventure!" Quartz replied. Scarab couldn't help but smile at the kits. Her smile suddenly faded as she heard a snarl.

Most of the cats began bristling with alarm. Jupiter quickly shoved the kits, Sand, and Fang into the den. Star and Elliot quickly gaurded the entrence. She heard Mercury mumble, "They're back." "Who's back?" Before Mercury could answer, a massive cat clambered into the clearing. It was a white tabby, sort of like Apex. Except much bigger, with longer, ragged fur, and large paws. It had torn ears, and most disturbingly, an empty, scarred, eye socket. Two, large calicos, nearly identical in size, followed the tom. One had striking yellow eyes, the other had green. One of them had half a tail, it looked as though it was cut off. The calicos glared at the cats. "So, you still haven't left?" the tom growled. Jupiter stood up, undaunted. "We were just about to. Now, go on with your bad selves." The tom looked at the other cats. His gaze raked across Axxa and their small group. Scarab nearly shuddered as the tom stared at her.

"Then, why is there more of you? Are you planning an attack?" "No." "Oh, really? I find that hard to believe." Jupiter didn't respond. "I can see you're lying. Do you know what we do to liars?" Jupiter still remained silent. "We punish them." At those words, cats lept into the hollow. There were hardly more than there was against them. Yet, Scarab had a feeling there was even more lurking around. "Now.. get out, admit the truth, or face your punishment." As Jupiter began to stalk away, the others fearfully followed. As she passed infront of the cats, she shivered at their glares. She'd never known cats so hostile! So.. so cruel and selfish. She didn't even think cats could be like that! Suddenly, her opinion of Mars seemed like nothing. Sure, the ginger tom was aggressive and rather hostile, but he wasn't like that!
