LinkNOICE! Be careful though. Are you in a lab environment, or at least wearing gear? Most varieties of thermite aren't explosive, but they produce a lot of heat.

LinkOoh, that's probably not good. From what I have seen, you don't seem to care much for your own safety anymore, but you are endangering any neighbors, your family, and your entire house. If I were you, take it outside, wear long sleeves and jeans, and put on ski goggles or sunglasses. You also should probably use a ceramic or clay pot for the thermite, as metal will melt and glass will crack.

If you are in the wild, and need gunpowder, you can make it with salt, sugar, and an ice pack. I will not tell you how, look it up yourself, but it is still cool. don't try that indoors, though.
