Yox hopped out of their dumpster and shook off some garbage that cling to their fur.
Lost was walking throughout the alleyway with complete different looks such as..longer hair, less tails and no cuts and bruises.
They had noticed them quickly and hissed, standing in a fighting position.
lost tails went fuzzy and they hissed back, "back off hairball."
"you're in my territory"
they quickly jumped them and pinned them to the ground
"Think I care? it's not like you have any contract, furball." lost said again, having their tails in a defensive motion.
They just hiss again, growling until they smelled something.
Yox sniffed them then around.
"cat-" they hopped off them and tried batting at something under a dumpster.
Lost ran over when they heard the word cat and grabbed it with their tails.
lost pet the cat and sat it free, seeing it walk away from the dumpster. "you don't need to grab it for it to leave."
They glared at them and turned away remembering why they had left the dumpster.
lost rolled their eyes and walked to its dumpster.

Yox pushed some boxes around looking for something.
They purred and grabbed an old teddy bear then sat and hugged it. "baby"
"Baby?" lost eyed it and walked a little closer, "you had a baby?"
(WOULD LOST SMELL LIKE THE BEAR..)
Lost took the bear gentle eyeing for who knows how long. "I feel like I've seen before..but I cant remember were, maybe a store prehaps?"
MAYBE? OR BEAR SMELL LIKE LOST-))
They put their arms down and hugged it again. "baby"
they nuzzled it and purred.
(BOTH..)
Lost took a deep breath and tried to think straight. "Was uh..the baby in a box?- wait..no, nevermind I sound crazy." lost chuckled slighty.
(POV: lost is also very dumb.)
Lost tails begin wagging, and they started to get nervous. "Yox..?"

They looked up at them, confused and tilted their head. "i didn't tell you my name."

"You a have a sibling...Right? Are you..the thing that saved me as a child..and the thing that had to watch me die." lost begin mumbling and very faintly breathed.
They stood and stared at them. "who are you? how do you know my name?" they held the bear closer all they heard from them was the mumbling no real words.
"it's me lost!!" lost shouted desperately and moved their bangs from out the other side of their face showing their eyes.
"No, lost is dead. i saw." they stepped back and started to growl, the yelling scared them.
"I-I'm sorry, it had to happen, or terrible things would have happened, y-you see my harm its missing, you remember right?"

"Baby's old body is dead, but baby soul is here in new body!" lost tried their best trying to explain what happened without saying to much.
"you're lying! you have to be!" they sobbed into Lost's shoulder, but there was plenty of proof they weren't, Yox just didn't want to believe it.
"I would never lie to you, I didn't want to tell you what was happening to me because it would make you even more sad than now, but im here and im not leaving again ever!" lost looked at them in the eyes.
They dropped the bear and hugged them.
"promise?"
they squeezed.
their crying calmed and the nuzzled into them, starting to purr.
they kept their grip tight, they didn't want Lost to leave again.
"Do you want to move in with me..?" lost held onto them, wagging their tails.

they followed, still trying to wrap their head around the whole thing.
they begin to walk for a few more seconds before walking into a neighborhood, and a cute onestory house was infront of it. "you like it?" lost asked yox.
