Part 1: WTH Is this place?

This is FlipAnim! A small website where you can post artwork, animations, or whatever, and in return get likes, and follows (which we’ll go over in a few minutes). If you’ve ever used Instagram, it’s like that, except it’s marketed towards children and teens.
So, you’ve made yourself an account I presume. When you post drawings, you get likes. Likes are important if you want to grow your account (sad, but true). You also have the following, which are pretty self explanatory. You can also follow other accounts, and see what they’re up to in the little eye marker in the top of the screen.

LinkPart 2: Icons and Stuff

Pencil - Draw your art! When you click it, you’ll be brought with the old editor. This is old because of the beta editor. What's the difference? Old editor is extremely dated, and doesn’t have very many features as beta. No layers, no moving objects, etc.
Beta is the complete opposite. It has almost all the basic features decent art programs have. Moving objects, layers, and elaborate ways to make animations, and a wide variety of other things. Explore them!
Dice - Random Animation. When clicked, you can see others' art, Even if it's from 2016 or 2017. I don’t recommend using it, because it’s pretty useless unless you’re curious about seeing old accounts.
Two Arrows - See the latest animations and the most popular! This will take you to the front page, where, regardless of quality, you can see things the instant they’re uploaded. If you hit that fire icon, you can see the highest liked animations, and drawings.

Things that are important, but you should be aware of:
This is quite a toxic place. People can, and will be mean. Someone is exposed every other day. If you want a good reputation, don't participate in random drama.
Stars are featured. This is art that has been liked by FlipAnim himself. Its extremely hard to get a feature, but if you do, you’re a god.
FA Stars. People with at least 1000 likes I call them FA stars. They’re popular, and most have been around since the sites start, which is why they’re so popular to begin with. They usually have some features, and a huge fan base.
Don’t talk to someone you don't feel comfortable with!
Be kind to others! Don't beg for art!
Participate in challenges, collabs, trades, whatever!
Be your self! You will attract the right people if you do.
