LinkWhy St. Patrick’s Day is the best Holiday ever.
An Essay by FurryTrash.
What does St. Patrick’s Day celebrate? Well here is something you might not know.
The formal Green day is to celebrate the death of a former saint of Ireland, Patrick. In other words, he was known from someone who ministered christianity.
The day is to celebrate the family. Don’t get confused with Christmas, because this is JUST about celebrating the family. Don’t need no gifts to be happy. It’s a fun day.. Well, just because it’s a fun day.
it doesn’t have MUCH of a purpose; which creates it the best holiday ever.
People wear green because since the holiday was founded in Ireland, the flag was a greenish color, with a clover, symbolizing Catholicism.
Not a lot of people understand what’s so important, but you see people wear green. Most of the time people just say, “**** it, I’m gonna wear green because everyone else is.” And thats exactly what everyone says to themselves.

LinkHoliday is important, it’s a fun day to stroll the town with family, to witness one of the more fascinating parades of the year.
Halloween, Christmas, both famous holidays. Christmas, kids fake thinking it’s not about presents but faking the fact that they need to believe its about family.
Halloween, well.. You’re just getting candy. In fact its the only time parents allow you to get candy from strangers. You might as well just jump into a van that says, “free candy!!”
Basically, my point across, is that some holidays are overrated. Their purpose is shit, and so is the holiday. (sorry christmas, but i mean its true.) I believe people should start recognizing the underrated ones, such as St. Patrick’s day and Easter. Because who doesn’t like stealing eggs with magical candy inside.
But overall, I believe St. Patrick’s day has to be one of the best Holidays ever created.
The end.

Linkno to argue for this but halloween is created because the costumes scare away the evil spirits but now that there is just princesses and heros idt that would be a holiday anymore

LinkHalloween is typically known for the spooky costumes and scares.
It is a holiday that celebrate Samhain, or "Summer's End." Basically that means it is a holiday that celebrates the ending of the Harvest Season.
It also does in fact scare away evil spirits, as said somewhere in the bible, but don't quote me on that because I'm atheist.
Overall it's very overrated. I don't despise it, but i don't like it either. I only think of it to celebrate the end of fall, and that's it.
