oh look badly drawn phone art- Ja’koalion was wandering through the bitter cold snow, trying to find his way back to the cabin. He hadn’t intended to go this far, but he had. And now he was lost. He didn’t think much of it- they’d probably go find him. But before they found him, he’d have to get closer to where they’d likely be searching. He shivered, trudging onward. He didn’t like the cold. He was used to constant scorching heat. It wasn’t ever really cold where he was from. “Hello?” He called out. The sound echoed, but he didn’t get any response. He sighed, before continuing to walk through the icy sheet of snow. It was about up to his ankles. Ja’koalion froze. He’d thought he heard a crack. After he heard nothing but silence, he hesitantly stepped forward, causing another cracking sound to break the silence. This time, he panicked a little. Okay, he thought. Stay calm. He just needed to carefully walk forward, as slow as he could, and put as little weight on the ice

as possible. Simple. He did exactly that. A few steps later, he heard another crack. The ice broke under his feet. He screamed, though it got cut off by both the shock of the cold and the water. Ja’koalion forced his eyes open. He couldn’t see the spot he’d fallen through. He exhaled, seeing the bubbles float upward, and swam in that direction, only to slam into the ice. He tried to break it from underwater, but found he had little effect on it. He did his best not to go into shock. He didn’t want to drown. He didn’t want to freeze, either. His heart was beating fast. He didn’t have long to get out of the ice, and even then, would he make it to safety? He didn’t know. He couldn’t give up, though. Ja’koalion punched the ice one last time, before closing his eyes and hoping for the best.
